Good for you...you're #14 then !!

As to what it is?
It's very simple - SETI@Netherlands have "dreamed up" an idea for a competition, whereby SETI members sign up to voluntarily crunch on SETI project for a particular period of time... - about 2 weeks, starting in November.

What we have done is to register a team of our members who will crunch SETI and all their credits earned during this period will be collated together and then "ranked" against members from other teams. Whoever wins, wins the "Gauntlet"....!

There's more stuff on our forum....but that 's the gist.

Howdy, I am in for this....

I will be starting to run down my cashe ready for kick off on the 4th of November. Haven't done Seti fior a long time. Seti Sky Map View is now working so i will be able to see where i am looking.

I know i will not be able to compete with this old steam powered computer but it will be a good benchmark, are hobnobs included ???
