We have added a new prime search project, Cullen/Woodall prime search. These primes are of forms n*2n+1 and n*2n-1 respectively. Our goal is to find the biggest Cullen and Woodall primes ever. This isn't as easy as it may sound, only 12 Cullen primes and 15 Woodall primes have ever been found, however, we believe that PrimeGrid has sufficient computing power to make this search plausible.

It is now possible to choose the subprojects you would like to run in project preferences page. Please note that when you are using account managers your choice may be reset when changing resource share allocation.

I have done a few of these this evening :)
credit asked for is higher than the LLR's.....but what were going to be given I can't say ATM as credit is still pending.
But be sure I will get back to you soon as pos with the new results.

Update: LLr's used give a return of 1.25 per Wu
Woodall's are being given 1.92 to 2.16 per Wu
I can only give you Woodall credit rates as I have not at this time been given any Cullen work as yet.....

Have added these in on preferences page, but no wu as yet..

FYI.....Woodall LLr's are being given two and up to four times the claimed credit

So come on down and get yours while stocks last :)

Seem to be getting about 11.5 credit for the average Woodall wu 8)
but as yet not got any Cullen wu's :(
Anyone got any Cullens' yet or are in very short supply/high demand

I just set 'preferences' to 'Cullens' only and got a huge batch of 'em before I could reset to 'no new tasks'! Says they're 6 minutes each, goes up by 12½%/Minute. So at least I can get rid of them relatively quickly so I can get back to ABC!
