Overcommited ???

Post by MisterH »

I hope one of you wonderful people can help.

I am running CPDN, Seti and Einstein and am not receiving new work, just the following messages;

06/03/2007 21:58:48||Using earliest-deadline-first scheduling because computer is overcommitted.
06/03/2007 21:58:48||Suspending work fetch because computer is overcommitted.

CPDN is Preemted at the time of this message, I have one WU of Einstein running and one ready to run, both with deadlines of 10 March and nothing at all for SETI.   The BOINC FAQ says this message means that the WU's are not expected to finish on time.  Should this still prevent me receiving SETI WU's when I have none  :?:

Or is it me being a :knob:

short answer yes, if you are overcommitted you will not get work from any project as Boinc would not start to run other work units while overcommited

edit yes to not getting wus not to the are you being a ...?
