Question for you: How old is your ETX-70 and what software version is on it?....
I've have a few problems with mine but I'll be danged if I'm gonna pay £35+ for the CDROM (to update the software) and cable (ie #506 kit) in order to "tweak it"....

Spoke too soon - "This page cannot be found" error !!!! KOD strikes again.
PS Above and to the right are two other bright objects. The further one from the Moon is Saturn. But you'll need a half decent scope to see it in all it's glory.
My Meade ETX-70 can just about make out the rings to each side, but my tripod is a bit wobbly, so it's not easy and it's bloomin' cold out there....
