Any Idea why my PG CPID should have changed?

I noticed my Boincstats sig was down a load of credits from yesterday and looking closer saw PG was no longer listed, when I checked my account page my CPID had changed, i refreshed the page and it changed again?

I wouldn't mind, but I've not crunched any PG the last couple of days, still my CPID is back to normal for now, just need to wait for Boincstats to update.

As the saying goes "If it ain't broke, give it to Gary and he will break it for you"

NEWS from Prim Grid

Post by UBT - bobuk »

News
24/03/2007 ....  20:44:33 UTC ...  50% of required amount acquired :)
Yesterday we surpassed 50% of our donation drive target, and have ordered most of the parts of the new server, although it will take at least 2 weeks to receive them. Thanks to everyone who has made this possible.
However, we still need money to buy final parts and to cover increasing collocation costs and possible upgrades to the current servers. Please help by donating today.

Well done all on the team that donated.

Well done the 97 people who have crunched on this project.

We got to 1 million credits today.

Don't know how we (Bob?) missed this thread!

We've got one day for the challenge if anyone's up for it!

Ooooo
Note: 64 bit Windows and Linux benefit from a 1.5X speed advantage over 32 bit...so 1.5X the credit. :)

Despite us nearly missing the start of 'The Ides Of March' challenge we're a very creditable 9th in the world.

Individually, NaRyan is 36th and Joshrandom 53rd. I think that's about it!

13 Hours to go to make a difference!

First 12 hours of the challenge have gone well! Other than the WU per minute limit we hit for the first hour, the server has held up well. We have taken note of this issue for future challenges.

Almost all hosts had at least a little bit of work after 1 hour...and most had their cache full after 3 hours.

At 12:00 UTC, 186.1K WU's have been downloaded. Our original goal was 50K and that was hit 1 hour 35 minutes into the Challenge. Quite AMAZING!!! Just goes to show you the EXTRAORDINARY people of the BOINC community! Congratulations everyone...job well done!

But it's not over yet...we still have 12 hours to go. :) So we are advancing our goal to an unprecedented 250K WU's.

Challenge Status (hourly) is now being provided on the front page.

Darn...

I just got pushed back to 53rd place again,

time to pull out all the stops (which means dusting off my trusty old P4, and bringing it into the action  ).

Cool :)
I never noticed that either, then again I hardly ever look at a projects main page :)
Looks like I picked a good day to fix my AMD 6000+'s stupidity (turns out it was running the tasks at 50% cpu, even though it was set to 100%, a re-install of Boinc fixed that.)

Ah ryan, they tend to prefer extra mature cheddar

P.S - Remove the mouse trap, it makes them nervous

Looks like I'll have to make do with this pack of slightly out of date Quavers for the time being....

But where is everyone???  NaRyan has scored half the teams points single handed.  :notworthy:

Precisely! Whoever came up with that credit allocation obviously didn't care about alienating all the 32bit PG crunchers out there, did they?

Well I have 3 x64 pootas (2x Dual core and 1 quad core) and also have 2 x86 pootas (both single core)
So I guess that helps ;)
Done 1690 workunits in the last 24 hours, however that will increase since I fixed the 6000+ porblem :D
The 6000+ is doing the PSP sieve workunits in just over 5 mins.

As for the credit, you get the exact same credit for x86 & x64 (4.93 credits), it's just that the x64 app is 50% faster.

Well, I did nothing but this the last 24 hours, but with no 64bit nor Quad I guess my contribution was a mere tinkle in the pond :?

Yeah, I was a mere tinkle in the pond as well! Do 2 tinkles = a tonkle?

Well done all, especially Ian and James, who got a great 52nd world position.
