What happens if Max error is exceeded?

Post by UBT - Mikee »

Noticed on a project the other day (can't remember which) that the 'max # of error' had been exceeded - and I'm sure it said that all the credits that had been claimed had been cancelled. I think. Maybe.

Is that right?

I just downloaded a load of Sztaki's and noticed that most of them were 'resends'

minimum quorum 3
initial replication 3
max # of error/total/success results 5, 8, 5

Take a look at this one for instance.

If I complete it then the other (currently unsent) has also has to complete (or just 1 more resend) if I read things right.

Bit of a bu**er if the other fails + it'll take so long after a resend you'll miss it anyway!

But I know there has to be a limit to how many times a WU gets sent out. Am I right in thinking, though, that you'd get nothing if that were the case?

Not so much a problem here (only 10 creds) but would be in a longer timed WU.

Rant over.... (still looking for the 'anykey' key) :dark1:
