G'Day - I liked it so much I couldn't stay away...
I joined UK BOINC back in 2007 and contributed to SETI@home. Poor and variable broadband drove me to distraction so I decided to hold onto what precious bandwidth I had and reluctantly pulled the plug. Since then, NZ has dragged itself out of the 1980's and at long last we can communicate with the rest of the world - while not necessarily at warp speed, significantly better than 256Kps. Anyway, I'm back on board and with SETI@home I'm doing my bit for Milkyway@home too.
Be assured that there is another long lost pom in the antipodes waving the flag and revelling in the schadenfreude of another Aussie wicket falling....
Cheers all,
