Well it's about time! I think it has been released as of March 26, 2010 (slipped by without me noticing...)

Looks like the prices start from around £310 and upwards on the dabs website, could be cheaper elsewhere but it's just a quick reference.

Question is... Are they worth the money? Are they any better then the new ATI series GPU's, and if so how much better?

I have never, and have no intention of ever paying out anymore than £150 for a g card... .
£310 is madness :shock: :D
Unless of course, it can outrun my trusty ol' 9800gtx+ by 100% ?

According to the only spec I found comparing them, the 480 has a 5 - 10% overall advantage over a 5870.
That's for a card probably going to be costing nearly twice as much and also with more memory. Doesn't seem worth it to me.
