Don`t think this is genuine, we normally call ourselves UBT, not UKBT.

I`ll try to contact one of our admins to confirm or otherwise.

Ben set it up...
So yeah it Genuine.

After all if it was Fake would Ben ({-E-Z-} Peanut) and me ([UKBT] Na'Ryan) be Admins of the group :)

Also due to the reason it had to be http://steamcommunity.com/groups/UKBT , because http://steamcommunity.com/groups/UBT belongs to another Steam group (Ultras BT (UBT))

Might be best to keep it as UKBT, since there is already a UBT group (not boinc related or to us).

Granted they also only have 3 peeps, and non of them usee [UBT] before their name, but hey you know how daft some peeps on steam can be :P

It was down to £13.49 not that long ago.
It will more than likely go down again once the new addon is out for it.
Valve usually does those things, heck Team Fortress 2 is down to £6.99 until Friday, due to the Scout update being released.

For those of you that have not played on my L4D server (and why not!!!)
This is what peeps see when they join.

It's just the UBT logo, in the top of the screen, and the bigger part is my server rules :P
For those of you that have L4D, if you have joined the UBT steam group
When you run L4D, you will see on the bottom, middle of the screen that it mentions a server called "The Bar Stool".

That is my server.
At the moment the server is open for all L4D users to play on.
So if there is a game in progress and there is space, you can join in just by clicking on that.
It does take a few seconds to show up, then another few seconds to show what game is in progress.

And please for the love of Hobnobs, can someone else who knows how to play join!!!
As Ben is the n00biest n00b that has ever n00bed!
Well apart from when he spawned a Tank right next to me, and I got punched off the level to my death..... grr git!

P.S the banner in my sig also shows the server info.
And it is clickable to get a bit more info on the peeps whare playing/have played :)

So NA I see the server IP address and port number, does/can you connect directly to your server ? Does the game have that ability?

Yes, you have 4 options.

1: Just click on the "Steam Group Servers" thing on the main screen, and connect from there.
2: Open the console by pressing the ¬ key (the one to the left of 1 and above tab) and enter connect 89.238.160.22:27015 , you might have to enable the console by going into Options, Keyboard/Mouse and setting Allow developer console to Enabled.
3:If you have played on the server before, open the console and type openserverbrowser, hit enter, click on history, look for "The Bar Stool", right click on that and add to favourites. From then on open console type openserverbrowser and click on favourites and it is listed. but this is kind of the long way for a shortcut...
4:Or just bind a key to make you connect, i.e BIND F12 "connect 89.238.160.22:27015" , type that in the console, then from now on if you press F12 you will connect.

Easiest option is #1, Click on "Steam Group Servers", it opens a new area, wait a few seconds, and it will tell you how many peeps are on server, what game mode they are playing, what level and what difficulty.

If your ever on the server, and someone is being a *ahem*, if I'm online send me a message (shift + tab to open overlay), double click ma name, tell me who it is\what they are doing, and i make em go bye bye...

No it's when you load Left 4 Dead.
You will see this on the main menu screen

Click on the "Steam Group Servers" bit and you will see this info

That tells you that the server is full.
The ping to the server (41ms)  <-Don't rely to much on this, I have had it give me stupid high ping before.
That it is on the Death Toll campain.
They are on the 4th level.
It's a public game (anyone can join)
It is on Expert difficulty.
And has 4/4 players.

Edit:
Guess you figured it out :)
Poor Timby in an Expert game
Learn how not to play L4D in 30 seconds ;)

Yeah not like I would ever spawn 2 tanks in the starting safe room.
And noclip out of there.......... oh wait..... err nevermind.......

TeeHee

Ya missed the game after you left.
My friend and I were mucking about in an Expert game on Blood Harvest.
1 other peep from my steam friends joined in, and he had also invited one of his friends.

After much confusion as to why god mode and inf ammo was on.
We ran through the levels Rambo style.
Untill we found a Witch on the bridge, so we tried to mele her to death with our medkits....
After a few mins we kind of realized that won't work.
Funny thing is as one peep said that, the silly moo jumped off the bridge.
:D
