Yup - "Scarlet" has gone and been replaced by ???

Hope there's no copyright issues on that "picture"

Unless it's a self-portrait of course   8)

Glad you like her Mike ;)

I decided I needed a change having not got the brownie points offered here.
This is my second attempt :)
There is a larger image here.

She is known as Latitia_Red.  I got her from the same place as my beloved Scarlet, way back when.
I dunno why the artist didn't add any copyright info.  I'd love to contact him / her to say how brilliant I think the artwork is but I've been searching for years and never had any joy.  I'd love to be able to use a computer photo manipulation program like s/he has.

Went to that link and only found msg's about Seti-Cruncher getting to 1 MILLION SETI credit mark - oh, and a cute picture of Lis Sladen...!

(Edit: - OK, re-read the thread and found what Jackie was going on about - was actually looking for a post from her, but couldn't find it originally).

regards,

Tim

OK Jackie, Please read the whole message which I'll re-quote here for you:
There seems to be a general "Doctor Who" theme going on here (see avatars) !!

Now, who is going to be first to post using a Katy Manning or Elisabeth Sladen avatar?

mmmmmmmmmm.......?

Maybe I'll award 75 brownie points to the first "good looking" avatar.......but you must keep it for at least one month...!

(Bonnie Langford is NOT allowed !!)
So, if you have created a new avatar on a "Doctor Who" theme (as was implied by that very msg), then indeed the points are yours.....but I've only seen two avatars which are lovely, but are nothing to do with Dr Who....!

(OK - so maybe I didn't say that EXACTLY - but that was what was inferred !!)

regards,

Tim

So, I think I'll dock you any brownie points I "might" have given you previously, for now wasting time with an incorrect link.... :D

cor - some people...!
Tell me about it.   :sign3:
Try reading the 7th post in the thread.  And just in case you can't count:

 It must be all the beer you were drinking over the weekend.  I'll forgive you, millions wouldn't.
Some extra brownie points for a false accusation would be nice too

Nope - nothing matters (except size !! - at least so I'm told - but then again.....do I care??)
Therefore the good loking avatar did not have to be Dr Who themed.

HA!

Now hand over the brownie points.

Aha, so you think I've been caught out - hmmm, think I'm on dodgy ground and Jackie is obviously a woman with a challenge - the most DANGEROUS kind....!

So, I'm not going to even try and fight this one, so, Jackie gets 75 points for the original post, plus interest at the rate of 3%/month, so that's makes 2.25 extra credit interest per month, taking the total to 79.5.

Then I s'pose I better give a few extra BP's just for sheer bl**dy perseverance and having a memory like an elephant...!

(That's a MEMORY like an elephant, nothing else implied...!!)

So, let's add say, another 26 BP's making the total a nice round 105.5.

Satisfied????

I'll think about it.  It takes a lot of time to process that kind of information when you have a memory like an elephant.

Now where did I get that PO Box info from? Oh yes I remember

It wasn't me, cos I double checked my code when I saw what had happened, and I've already informed Darren.

You do realise we wouldn't be having this conversation or problem if someone hadn't tried to be argumentitive.......

Ok if you have a [ / quote] without a [ quote] it goes wibble.

When Tim quoted me he missed out one quote opener.
