So now the coppers have their own "fashion accessory". What's the point? Are the racers going to take any notice of this compared to normal police presence. Are they going to see this van, have a look around and think to themselves 'ooh I'd better not customise my car and cruise the streets anymore'. I think not! Sure it'll be a novelty to see it but after the novelty has worn off what then? Have North Wales Police got nothing better to spend my money on?Unveiling the van on his blog, the force's deputy chief constable Clive Wolfendale said too many young people treated their cars as a fashion accessories.
Of course they have! A friend of a friend got done for eating a sandwich while driving, another got done for no seatbelt while driving 100 meters to his next delivery. I've even been pulled over 'cos one thought my indicators were flashing too fast! They tried to do someone last week as he moved his mobile onto the dashboard. They even checked and saw he hadn't used it for hours but still tried to do him for 'undue care and attention!' Jeez, they'll pull you over for staring at them too long in the future!
Not bad for the first rant of the year!!
Feel better now - thank you doctor.
