Strange ....8 hour worth of WU's on 10 days cache

HI there, can anyone shed some light on this ......

% of time BOINC client is running 99.9457 %
While BOINC running, % of time work is allowed 10.5263 %

I only get 2 WU's for seti .
My computer is not running anything else and my WU's are taking about 4 hours.

CPU type GenuineIntel
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz [x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 7]
computer running 24/7

How do i change % of time work allowed ?

Have a look at the advanced tab, preferences and see what % the cpu time is set to. Also if you have more than 1 cpu make sure that they are all shown so as to get the most work. Might not help, but it's worth a try .....

In the advanced tab ive set cpu at 100%
tryed every setting in advanced prefs but seti's saying im only allowing it 10% time
cool can't wait to get the other 90 %
3500 credits a day from a p4

Is it the only project on the machine, if not what is the resource share set to? might not make any difference but bump it up towards 100% if it is not already.. I had this problem with malaria, no work on the go for anything else but because I don't normally run it much it would get 1 wu per core and no more, message would be something to do with time project is running and so not finishing even though everything else was set to no work (pain in the a**).

Right bumped seti up to 77%. I have 11 other projects on this computer (all se to no work) and have only just started running seti again for the gauntlet.
il do a few wu's and see if the % goes up :lol:
