BBC video

D'ya think if I ask George Lucas to join UBT, he would ??

I was trying to work out how many cabinets they had...?

He said they had 4,400 CPU's. And each "blade" has 2x dual cores....so that's 4 CPUs per blade. That's 1,100 servers.....

Each cabinet had 12 servers per shelf and 3 shelfs (sic) per cabinet...making 36 servers per cabinet.

So, 1,100 server @ 36 per cabinet...makes 30 cabinets...and if my eyes didn't deceive me, there seemed to be more than that...OK, so maybe not all the cabs were fully loaded....

Wonder what the leccy bill is?
