I figured out what it was after I had to visualise it upside down, with the Y axis (counting the days of the month) going the other way, with day 1 at the bottom......UBT - Mikeejones wrote:It shows the date the 'x million' was reached.Temujin wrote:nice graphs Mike but can you explain the last one
i.e. Sept 06 we got to 2 million on the 30th, in Oct we got there on the 20th.
Stunning to just see the increase within the last 6 months - with around 2 million credits in Sep 06 and over 6 mill in April 2007....
But all the graphs nicely portray the very real increases in credits and memberships as well as the "work done" over the last few months....
regards,
Tim

Project MilkyWay is now our highest project in terms of credits given per day - yes even more that SETI@Home! This has had a huge effect on our attempt to be the highest producing UK team.
In January's report I said that we would take 224 days to overtake OcUK (12th September). This has now dropped to 107 days (5th July). We're gaining on them even quicker than I expected! I have no doubt that this date will change by several weeks over the next few months, probably drop back to somewhere around early August - on the other hand it might not!
The two graphs below show quite dramatically the gain we have made over the last couple of years. Note that the 'running total' graph isn't linear, in recent months our rate of climb has steadily increased.
You can also see that the 'daily' graph is showing OcUKs output has doubled from just over 100,000/day to just over 200,000/day; Ours has quadrupled from just over 100,000/day to over 400,000/day!
As far as monthly totals are concerned we're on for a huge total this month!
We only just missed 11 million last month, had there been an extra day we would have got there. No matter though! It looks like we're not only going to shoot through 11 million with ease but we may even bypass 12 million and get 13 million! It's going to be close, but even if we don't get 13 million it should still be nearly 2 million more than the previous month.
Before anyone asks - 1 million of these extra credits is solely due to new member "idb" who has transferred his 'Climate Prediction' credits to us - welcome to the team! So, even without these credits, we'd still be 1 million up on our previous best month.
