Boinc stats

Post by Gary »

I recently change email add on all projects including Bam,  I appreciate it takes time for everything to re-align ?

Most functions are working in my Bam account except for detailed stats...

User CPID doesn't exist in BOINC combined stats or doesn't have any credit.

Do I need to select the renew cpid button ?

Advice appreciated.

Gary.

can't really help Gary, but every project I join takes the best part of a week for the CPID to align itself with the other projects?

I just noticed that on each projects individual stats there is a new cpid that are the all same.

On the main account page it still has the old cpid, it has a renew cpid box next to it, just wondering whether this needs updating manually ?

Not a problem, just wondering what went on ?

I detached from Bam and the manager then proceeded to connect to every project and download some .png files

examples :

Code: Select all

26/03/2007 16:03:27|chess960@home alpha|[file_xfer] Finished download of file stat_chess.png

Code: Select all

26/03/2007 16:02:10|Spinhenge@home|[file_xfer] Started download of file stat_icon.png

Code: Select all

26/03/2007 16:01:06|SETI@home|[file_xfer] Finished download of file sah_ss_290.png
26/03/2007 16:00:58|SETI@home|[file_xfer] Started download of file arecibo_181.png

Couldn't be sure myself being a lowly erk.

If I was to hazard a guess I would say that the manager went to look for some work, realised that BAM wasn't there any more, it then went to the BOINC folder, found all the 'missing' projects and re-attached. The PNG files are probably default files that each project asks to be put in the folder if they're missing whether the  project is set to 'no new tasks' or not.

Does that sound good or a load of......

Sounds good to me Mikee, like the manager is talking direct to the projects and not through BAM anymore ?
