Hmmm, but why the sudden jump.....UBT - Mikeejones wrote:Beat you to it by 7 minutes!

I haven't seen a new name in the CPDN membership , which obviously points the finger at maybe a credit re-alignment - but no members have suddenly gone up by 16% (or so), which is the approx level of increase in total credits...
...so, maybe something else, such as a glitch...!
But it didn't affect ARO, who have half the CPDN credits that we have, so maybe they should have gone up as well, if the glitch was project-wide?
EDIT: Sussed it. If you look at Temujin's CPDN stats:
http://ubt-seti.dyndns.org/ubt/ajs.php? ... ct=Climate
and then sort the 1hr column as descending, there's over 80 of our CPDN Team who gained big credits in the last hour....so, it must be a re-alignment, or a glitch - although some members have gained credits, who currently aren't crunching CPDN, looking at their respective 24hr, 1wk and 4wk credit totals....

Oh well...best to enjoy it for now and see what the morrow brings...!Temujin wrote:more like a glitch methinks
I could understand it if there was an even increase across members but there aint.
JSF has just almost trebled his credit with an increase of 152228 while Richard Alford has increase by just 1700.
I'd like it to be so but don't think it is.
For a dang moment there, I thought it was the start of mass defections from other CPDN teams....

Please see Carl's post http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnb ... hp?id=5097
"To sort of add on to Les' notes about migrating over, I had a brainstorm to move credits over. The next stats run should do this.
It's linked by cross-project-id so you have to make sure that they match on each project (go to "Your Account" here and on the BBC Expt site to make sure). If you used the same email addresses in both places you're probably fine.
The BBC credits (and "classic cpdn" credits also) will be added into your user total, and they will propagate to your cpdn team (you have to make sure you have the right team setup). This gets run nightly along with the regular stats calcs, so you can update your cross project id & team at will and see the changes within a day."
