Re: BBC Computer Literacy Project
Hi all
This might bring back memories for some - it's the 31st May 1987 edition of Micro File where they talk about email, and using modems (actually acoustic couplers in one instance !!!!).

Times really have changed - 31 yrs later and a mobile phone can send any data you want across the interweb to another mobile !!

Re: BBC Computer Literacy Project
Hi
I remember watching some of these. However, one of my favourite channels was .tv (aka dottv or the computer channel) I think it was channel 660 for a couple of years. 2 hours of 'live' stuff between 6 and 8 the recorded segments mostly to do with gaming. Mind you having Kate Russell presenting was also a bit of a pull! https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... dO-Em8eAMc
