UBT has regained #1 UK ranking position

Hi all,

Here's something to cheer you up, (after the England Lioness' unfortunate own goal in the last minute in the World Cup semi-final in Canada).

UK BOINC Team is once again the #1 ranked UK Team in the BOINC credit stats.

We've achieved this after overhauling TSBT. This also means we've now overtaken them in the Team World Ranking position, and we're now #5 in the entire World.

So, well done to everyone for making this happen. It's taken a while to achieve and we should not be complacent about this, as TSBT could so easily respond and try and fight back to recover what they think is theirs !!

But it might be a few days before any response happens, and in the meantime, we can award ourselves a nice cool, refreshing, alcoholic beverage, or perhaps a raid on the choccy Hobnob biscuit barrel

Shame about the own goal but they did have enough chances to wrap the game up before then. Still, a much better performance and result than their male counterparts have managed in the past few decades!

Number five in the world, our best position ever! So is it SETI Germany passed by the years end?

I think the main problem at the moment for both TSBT and ourselves is KWSN who are storming up the charts. I don't mind so much being overtaken by our northern brethren but foreigners!

I'm not too sure work would appreciate drinking on the job so I'll settle for a cup of tea and a biccie, the alcoholic beverage can wait for tonight

Yup - we've just sneaked past TSBT...mind you, what with BU's issues, both our teams "lost ground" while they sorted out the change in mining pool.

Now, which of our teams will get to 500 beeellion first ?
