Another little game for us to play as and when we feel the urge to, just post your current mood & a explanation if you wish to

I'm tired at the moment :sleepy2:  Still catching up with my sleep

Nobody seems inclined to join in with this one, so maybe we can ssume most peoples mood is apathy!
I'm feeling quite mellow at the moment...had a quiet night in watching a DVD and supping some nice wine (Black Stump from Australia). Just thinking about a nightcap...can't decide between a Gin or a drop of Tequila Gold.

Hi all,

I'm responding to this thread if only to prevent it becoming a Halifax-exclusive area....!

My current mood is one of tiredness and frustration - been trying to fix some servers over a dodgy ADSL connection and no-one will take responsibility for fixing the connection....makes me sick that these firms are so happy to take your money and then to not provide the service when it's required.

Come the revolution (which has been talked about on our old Yahoo forum http://groups.yahoo.com/group/uk_boinc_team
and here), there's going to be some serious changes when UBT takes over as the UK Government.  8)

regards,

Tim

Tip No. 428

Best advice - drink lots and lots of water. You'll feel better and "it'll" come out quicker and squishier and you'll have less chance of inducing piles !!!!!

You'll sleep better as well.

Typical bloomin' civil servants  :D  - see this is why the economy is going to the dogs - they fancy a day off and whoosh - "it's OK, take a day, no one needs you".

Try doing that in the real world.....result = One x P45.

Being made redundant in 1 week. Now on 10 weeks `gardening leave`.

Not allowed near any company machines unless supervised. (That's what comes of formerly being the UK corporate sysop/administrator)

A bit happier now than I was 2 hours ago!

Car kept on cutting out and nearly died completely taking Mrs. Mikey to work. If it hadn't restarted Basil Fawlty would have had nothing on me!

Found out it's the electric switch part on the ignition switch. Local Vauxhall garages are closed for the weekend and I didn't think it worth going to local scrappy as a replacement might be just as bad.

Sort of fixed it though!

Amazing what you can do with 2 bits of wire and a clothes peg!

Hi all,

Am VERY SAD today.

Oscar, our BSH ginger tom cat has died after suffering from Chronic Renal Failure.

16 years old and has been with us since forever (or so it feels) since he was a kitten.

In the end, he was wasting away, he wouldn't/couldn't eat and despite still being friendly to us and enjoying sitting on the window ledge in our (south facing) living room, lapping up the warmth of the sun, we knew he wouldn't "last" through the cold of winter.

We've now buried him, in a sun trap in our garden.

Tim

Profile changed to show Oscar at his best...prowling in our garden, scaring the birds away and keeping us "safe".

Tim, so sorry to hear your sad news. Wondered why your av had changed! My kitty cat is 17 and a quarter with an overactive thyroid but hopefully will last a few more years yet.  I'm dreading the day she goes though...
