Black Friday deals?...

Post by UBT - Timbo »

Hi all

Did anyone get a great deal today?...or did you do like I did and stayed at home, doing some jobs around the place, and generally not giving a rats a*$e about it all ?.

If you did get a good price on something, feel free to share.

regards
Tim

PS: I did succumb slightly and go on fleabay and bought myself a nice new leather case for my "a few years old, but working perfectly" Samsung Galaxy mobile - the old case has seen much better days and it started falling apart this week :( - it was all of 99p inc postage !!

I have found way too many decent things to be specific, and lets be honest 'deals' are pretty subjective. However the best places I have found for Computing/Tech this Black Friday & Cyber Monday are/were:

https://pages.ebay.co.uk/nectar-rewards ... index.html
[8x Nectar points, also chance to win 50,000 Nectar points (£500)]

https://www.ebuyer.com/blackfriday
[Up to 70% off]

https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Black-Friday ... =161428031
[Up to 50% off]

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/offers/black-friday
[Up to 40% off]

https://www.scan.co.uk/blackfriday
[£100's off]

http://www.softwaregeeks.co.uk
[20% off everything - Use code: BLACK20]

Basically I ignored it. I've found in the past that anything I'm slightly interested in isn't reduced at all (or is cheaper elsewhere) and the only things really reduced are bits and pieces that I don't really want but may be tempted to get just for the "savings".

It's cheaper for me to just stay away :D

Previous years I only ever found 4K TVs that were really discounted, however this year was different.

Therefore I went mental and got everything I had been waiting for.

I saved about 40%, and made £30 from Nectar points alone.
