Re: New logo ?
I've tried to make the lines terminate in the rough location for some Boinc projects, couldn't find the locations for all of them so added a couple to make it look a bit better, most are in the US so it was a bit lopsided.

That's a lot of effort, I would have just used a standard one from an airline!

I REALLY like this...although my one (minor) criticism, is that with the UK now just a red blob, how would it look if it was reduced in size by 50% or even 75% - as the current logo is used in/on a number of project websites, where we don't have "control" of the size (as their websites scales the image to fit their own page design).
But as I say, that's a minor thing and there's no reason to say that this is the final version, as it could be used in a number of different ways, depending on where it was going to be seen.
Oh - I've just had another thought - could others think that this is a plan for the mass emigration of everyone post-Brexit (showing destination cities)? Or maybe it's a "tip of the hat" to the last few scenes in the film "War Games" showing the flight paths of all the ICBM's ?? (either incoming to UK or outgoing to nuke the rest of the world !!)
regards
Tim

Haha ICBM's, the thought did cross my mind when I was drawing the lines, I could add a few going between the project points on the map
I could also increase the red blob slightly to see how that looks

Re: New logo ?
Increased the amount of network links to include links between projects and increased the size of UK to make it more visible when the image is reduced in size.

Hi
Well I quite liked version 4 but version 9 (this one) is looking even better - but I'm easily impressed!

Re: New logo ?
So after looking at this logo for a while a couple of things started to niggle me, I've adjusted the UK spacing to reveal more of the union jack and I've changed the weight of the website url text, re-aligned things and this is the result.

Sorry - should have replied earlier.
I can't think of a way to improve on that so, if no-one else objects, I'd be more than happy to adopt this as the new Team logo.
Unless I hear to the contrary, (from other members) I'll look to introduce this as of 1st Jan 2017, across all the projects that I have any control over.
regards and many thanks for your efforts.
