You won't get there with just your CPUs, so you'll definitely need to use your GPUs but I don't know how well they'll perform, I've never crunched seti on GPUs.

Sorry, yes with average credit, my mistake. I would never get the top on total credit! well if I had a spare few years mind you I look at the top dude on the RAC Chris Oliver and he only has one i7 920 and a GTX 295, surely I can beat him?

It depends on how well that GTX295 can crunch though those work units. It is a powerful card, much more so then the 8800 series, and it has 2 gpu's in the one card. You might just be able to outpace him if all your PC's are on 24/7. But only one way to find out.... Charge! :lol:

what even though i have a 9800gx2 (2 processors) and 8800 gtx and 2x8800gs ? surely they have more combined power?

Ah sorry, i thought you only had 2x8000 series GPU's. With the power of the 9800GX2 you are more likely to be out producing him  8)

and I have 2 9800GTX's in sli! and 2 8800GS in sli and Ive got a GTS240 and 2 9600gts on the way....its gonna be a WARM winter for me.

Just to say that my i7 rig is drawing 270watts constant!!! yikes

Im not 24/7 though, all computers are off by 1am. Might consider 24/7 for a month to see how high i can go!

Got another q6600 (runs at 3.2ghz on air) and a e8500 (running at 3.4ghz) got another 8800gtx and a e2160 (awww) all ready to fire up. don't need any central heating on in my whole house my livingroom gets to 29c with the door closed! LOL thats some heat kicking out.
