Gerasim

The section for those minor projects that are around, such as CAS@home, Yafu, Yoyo@home and also including those that are "non-intensive", such as GoofyxGrid, WUProp, which can both be run in the background.

HI

I recently reattached to Gerasim. Not had a problam before but was now getting errors...

Code: Select all

03/07/2017 17:32:53 | odlk | Scheduler request completed
03/07/2017 17:37:22 | Gerasim@home | work fetch resumed by user
03/07/2017 17:37:23 | Gerasim@home | update requested by user
03/07/2017 17:37:23 | Gerasim@home | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
03/07/2017 17:37:23 | Gerasim@home | Requesting new tasks for CPU and NVIDIA GPU
03/07/2017 17:37:25 | Gerasim@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
03/07/2017 17:37:25 | Gerasim@home | Invalid request received. Cannot load request into xml-document. The 'venue' start tag on line 124 position 4 does not match the end tag of 'global_preferences'. Line 151, position 3.
Quick look through the message boards suggested that the global preferences needed to be changed. I was using them from WCG. Just changed to Collatz instead and now it's...

Code: Select all

03/07/2017 17:43:05 | | (to change preferences, visit a project web site or select Preferences in the Manager)
03/07/2017 17:43:14 | Gerasim@home | update requested by user
03/07/2017 17:43:15 | Gerasim@home | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
03/07/2017 17:43:15 | Gerasim@home | Not requesting tasks: don't need (CPU: job cache full; NVIDIA GPU: job cache full)
03/07/2017 17:43:17 | Gerasim@home | Scheduler request completed
03/07/2017 17:43:17 | Gerasim@home | New computer location: home
So if anyone else is having a simailar issue just update your 'Computing Preferences' in another project and update.
