Bitmain R1 miner

The section for those minor projects that are around, such as CAS@home, Yafu, Yoyo@home and also including those that are "non-intensive", such as GoofyxGrid, WUProp, which can both be run in the background.

Bitmain R1 miner

Post by UBT - Timbo » Mon Oct 12, 2015 9:32 pm

Hi all,

I've just seen that a new Bitmain Bitcoin miner is now available.

http://www.eyeboot.com/ASIC-Miners/antrouter-r1

I'm pretty sure it can't be used for BOINC, but OTOH, lots of people need wifi type routers and this little device also contains a Bitcoin mining chip inside, rated at approx 5GH/s - about double the speed of the U1 and U2 ASIC's.

It can also be used with their U3's ASIC's...so if you want to have a play, you can also get them here:

Cost is approx $45 via eyeboot website - other sites might be more expensive.

regards
Tim
