Hi,

I've just joined the team. I used to run Seti on my PC a while back and I've gone back to it after a spell on World Community Grid.
I saw the UK BOINC Team while browsing. I spotted that one of the members is called "Halifax lad" and, as that's where I live, I thought I'd join up here.
I'm running an AMD64 3400+ with a Gig of Ram, hopefully I'll be able to contribute a bit to the teams efforts.

With that spec machine, perhaps you would like to help out the Seasonal Attribution Project (SAP) for Climate Prediction?

UK Boinc Team are #1 in the UK and 3rd position worldwide. We're about to pass Seti Germany for 2nd place (hopefully by the weekend) but #1 spot is over 200k away (Boinc Synergy) and we need to get more crunchers on the project.

There is a minimum requirement of 1gb Ram, so this rules out many - but not you!!!

OK, I've now signed up for SAP as well.....hope it helps get that no. 1 spot!

BTW, I like the use of the old Elite ratings, I got to Elite many years ago on my trusty old BBC Micro, those were the days!
