Came across this neat Wildlife Project based throughout N America and Canada observing wildlife via camera on the Internet and reporting various facts to help the Researchers. Its Neat :)

Not new .... been running 18 months .... but is low profile at present

Note: Temujin has already opened up an account for our Team

They have created a BOINC Credit scheme with it, that will not set the World on Fire, but gives a small incentive to do it. Observing each of the target 3 min videos is not something most will spend all day doing .... especially if a target bird on the nest is not moving rofl (especially if you can't see it - which does happen with well camouflaged Birds).... but life can get tense real fast when predator attacks occur.

Its the kind of thing which nicely fits a Tea/Coffee/Beer break, and watch a few clips whilst consuming said beverage ..... Cathartic :)

This seems interesting, and have signed up, but could not get any work, and cannot even find the account information page! Very strange.

- Go to Main Page

- Make sure you are logged in as per normal for a BOINC Site

- look at main menu

- select "Watch Video"

- pick the Site you want to monitor

- follow your nose when the first camera appears (don't forget to press "start" on the screen shot when target nest appears)
