Am I right in thinking BOINC manager can only run a maximum of 100 threads? (vCPUs/BOINC cores)

Hi Chris,

Going shopping? :D

Not having a 100+ core host I can't say :P

But ...
09/08/2019 18:22:18 | | Number of usable CPUs has changed from 101 to 999.
Boinc manager doesn't appear to have a problem with more than 100 cores.

Mark

With $7000 for a 7742, wouldn't it be a lot cheaper just to set up four threadrippers?!

EPYC use far less electricity etc than multiple threadrippers!

Thanks that info is *really helpful, and makes a big change to any system design planning (for me).
Going shopping?
