I`ve read this article twice, and the bit about the British train driver refers specifically to Cosmology.
So, as you say, it has to be The Prof.

Having re-read the article, I have to agree that it IS me :!:

Never thought when I joined the worlds best boinc team that I would end up being listed as a scientist(!) in a paper in the USA  :D
