Re: PrimeGrid challenge #3 Yuri's Night Challenge

Hi Richard,

That makes sense then although you do have considerable firepower to bring to bear on those poor PG tasks :D

I know what you mean, yesterday I had the heating on, today I've got all the windows open!

The grass here has a light dusting of snow, bit chilly for your cows

Re: PrimeGrid challenge #3 Yuri's Night Challenge

Just GPUs for me, the CPUs are busy elsewhere (and it'll take too long to configure them correctly for a three day sprint)

Don't seem too demanding, I'm running two at a time on my 1080s and it's just under an hour for two.

Congratulations Tim :)

VGTU has no work, T.Brada has no work, QuChem has work but still has problems running the VM under Windows (Linux is fine), SiDock has work and is reliable .... just don't go too far past the million

Re: WCG GPU Tasks now Live

The tasks don't seem to load the GPU much, I'm getting intermittent spikes to 55 degrees but it's mainly sitting in the low 40's. Collatz pegs it at a constant 82 degrees :)

Re: WCG GPU Tasks now Live

Hi Chris,

I'd ran out of useful work on my GPUs today and had WCG as the backup project so I've managed to grab a few.

There's not many and they don't take long (less than five minutes) but hopefully that will change.

Re: Want to rent some NVidia GPUs from Google?

I would be interested in renting some David_BAM GPUs to run on GPUGrid, but the forum is locked for me. Perhaps you could provide David with a login and ask him to come to the forum? Hi Chris, He's already got an account here - http://www.ukboincteam.org.uk/newforum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&...

Another PrimeGrid sub project ending (PPS-DIV)

The PPS badge still has other projects so no need to worry about missing out on that.

Re: Waste Not, Want Not

Greetings. I think the lack of a raspberry Pi team is probably due to their relatively low output, they're not that popular for crunching. It's usually cases like yours, you already have a Pi and decide to use it for Boinc as a second thought. In my case, I've ran a few Pis a while ago, mainly on Ei...
