Re: PrimeGrid: Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi! Summer Solstice Challenge

Hi

I'm only being a bit half-hearted on this - just doing 1 at a time as, if I have both GPUs running, one of them ramps up to 90 degrees so I have to manipulate them to just the one WU the cooler GPU only.

Re: PrimeGrid: Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi! Summer Solstice Challenge

(I don't know why I'm not listed - but the listing ends at posn 260 (and credits = 154,577.85), so maybe I've not earned enough credits yet ?) Hi I thought you might have not selected the right sub-projects but you're not listed as producing anything on John's stats page but you're still showing as...

FormulaBOINC 2020

Hi Seems like sebastien has had a change of heart in that he will be running FB next year. I got the impression that he had had enough and/or needed help in running it. But according to a post he recently made he'll be asking for suggestions for projects for next year. http://formula-boinc.org/forum...

Re: NAS box for storing CD and DVDs

Hi I was looking at this post and did a quick google search and saw "Handbrake". I've had it on the desktop for ages and forgot what it was! I think I ripped some things and found a few MP4 files that I think I ripped a couple of years ago. Just used VLC Player to see the quality and they seem fine....

PrimeGrid's 2019 Challenge Series Oktoberfest Challenge

BOINCStats Credit drop

Hi Just noticed I've lost 1,160,726 credits. There was something about Goofygrid messing with the stats so I assume it's something to do with that but nothing is showing on the BOINCStats page - no credits from them and just the negative credit. Mind you it's not as bad as Marks stats! -1,270,600,53...

Re: Primegrid 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing Challenge

Hi

Now I'm shifting!

Team up to 40th and I've got some credits up. Turned off the AMD version of hyper-threading to see if it makes much difference, so now running 7 cores instead of 13 threads - odd numbers but that's the way it is!

Re: Primegrid 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing Challenge

Hi

What a bungle! For some weird reason I was doing "The Riesel Problem LLR (TRP)" I'm sure I selected "Proth Prime Search LLR (PPS)" and I probably did but forgot to save! So forgot anything I said about 4 CPU and stuff!

Hi

Seems to be dying a slow death. If I click on any user I only get my stats and the hourly, daily and monthly graphs are duplicated. Individual projects still working. http://www.ubtstats.co.uk/ubt/SC3.php?n ... 0=2&dead=1

Hi

Just done a few OpenZIKA just to see what the credits are like

On this PC they take around 2.5 hours for an average of around 65 credits each. Not much but WCG is a poor payer anyway.

Re: New Project: BOINC@TACC

Hi BOINCWide team creation was suspended a couple of years ago. I just tried and there are no options to create a team. I believe when a project is being created they have to include the option of using an up to date database to use teams that are all ready open. For some reason (it's happened more ...
