Intel Core i7-8700K overclocked to 7.4GHz

The unlocked Intel Core i7 8700K Coffee Lake-S processor used by Dancop operates out of the box at 3.7GHz base / 4.7GHz boost frequencies, but is of course designed to be easy to overclock as signified by the 'K' suffix. The overclock achieved was 7,344.53MHz (recorded by HWBot as +98.50 per cent)....

Re: Advertising on UBT forum

Personally I would show the ads to everyone, but just place it somewhere out the way, such as the bottom of the page (footer). If you use Google AdWords PPC you can earn over £1 per ad click! I have used Adworlds across many sites over the last 10 years and have made a decent amount, basically for n...

Re: Current Problem with Collataz [info]

HI Mark, What will happen is the host will still be allocated GRC due to RAC/MAG, however their account has now been frozen and no GRC will be issued to that wallet; indeed I am sure reverse transaction analysis is being done on that wallet address right now to try and find out who owns it. Addition...

I wouldn't worry too much as GRCPool admin is already on the case.

Re: Current Problem with Collataz [info]

I totally agree. In the above case, the host was a GRCPool member - however their account has now been blocked and none of the GRC will be issued to them. So they have not only wasted everyone else's time, but also their own. Like you mentioned, this kind of issue is pretty easy to spot so I am not ...

Current Problem with Collataz [info]

Just so everyone is aware an issue has been raised with Collatz, with some hosts completing tasks in around 5 seconds. via: https://www.reddit.com/r/gridcoin/comments/88uaw0/no_one_curious_about_these_two_collatz_hosts/ Response from Project Admin: Project Down Until... It seems a few people have co...

Re: World top 100

being serious it did some good things as the end projects got some good money as the price of bitcoin has been high lately (previously).

In terms of stats, I am sure CPU crunchers felt the same way when GPUs came along hahaha

Re: Forum Database needs pruning

To be honest this is all the extension is actually doing; these are the steps to do this manually without an extension.

Re: Crypto takes a nose-dive!

Yeah I just read about this; I guess you will have to use a debit card instead!

Its strange that the banks will let you use your credit card to excessively gamble at a bookies or casino, or buy excessive amounts of alcohol, but not to buy Bitcoin and other crypto.

Re: Crypto takes a nose-dive!

I think you have to see it as a gamble, with quite good odds (relative to say the lottery or horse racing etc). If you can make 200%+ in less than a year with quite low odds, then I personally think its worth taking a small gamble on. Coinify is the one easier and best place to buy Bitcoin with a de...

Re: Crypto takes a nose-dive!

$20K to $8K in a few months, seems mad until you realize it went from $1K to $20k in about a year! Like I have always said, never invest more than you can afford to lose.. Personally I have stuck to that and have got most of my investment from mining and clever trading; so I am in this for the long ...
